SC Railing Company is proud to have partnered with Turner Construction and Heery International on the latest renovation to Nippert Stadium at the University of Cincinnati! The $86M renovation project features the expansion of the West Pavilion and improved attendee circulation of the East Pavilion via pedestrian bridges.
The nation’s 5th oldest collegiate stadium is uniquely located in the center of campus making it accessible to the students but creating challenges given its limited footprint. The addition of suspended pedestrian bridges will allow for a better traffic flow but required a decorative railing solution that meets the performance requirements for a high traffic location. SC Railing provided an aluminum grating guardrail system that was able to accomplish both objectives.
Beyond the aluminum grating, SC Railing participated with the improvements in the seating bowl by providing anodized aluminum picket railing. For the new West Pavilion, SC Railing provided a variety of railing including glass, stainless and aluminum systems.
It was another successful project; let’s hope for an equally successful season for the Bearcats!
