For the 2015 renovation phase of Sun Life Stadium, SC Railing designed, engineered and manufactured over 16,000 linear feet of ornamental aluminum and glass railing systems. In collaboration with project architects and owners, a fast-paced schedule was accommodated, completing our scope of work within an 8 month time frame.
Aluminum base shoe railing utilizing ½” laminated tempered glass with SGP interlayer infills were used at the redesigned seating bowl entrances. An anodized aluminum post supported railing system with a glass infill utilizing a frosted interlayer resides in the high-end 72 Club ‘living room’ luxury seating areas located on the home side at the midfield level, in “The Nines” suite areas as well as all four corners of the lower bowl. Cable railing with stainless steel fittings were used at the front of bowl, ADA seating areas and stairways leading down to field level.
1,400+ sq. ft. of aluminum seating risers were utilized over the end zone vomitory entrances where players enter onto the field allowing for continuous row seating spanning the vomitory.
Over 2,100 sq. ft. of large forkliftable seating platforms make up four premium seating sections in the Field Club bringing luxury seating at both end zones down to field level. Portable step, ramp and camera bay infill units were also provided.
SC Railing had the privilege of working with HOK and Hunt Construction Group on the 2015 phase of this fast-paced stadium renovation.
