Point supported glass systems consist of discretely located stainless steel supports set in holes in the glass. These fittings can either be flush mounted or have button-type heads that sit above the glass surface. Point supported glass systems are highly customizable and can be used in both weatherproof building enclosures, such as walls, canopies, and skylights, and in open-air systems such as guards, screen walls or accent walls. These fittings are capable of rotating, which allows for orientating the glass in multiple planes. Point supported glass is supported by spider fittings of either cast stainless steel or CNC cut and formed painted steel. These distinct glass systems are quite versatile and can be used to make almost any conceptual design a reality.
